EXHIBIT AUGUST 2024

“What gorgeous photos you've taken. Your show is stunning, and I love the picture I put the red dot on! Congratulations on your beautiful work. And thank you for making the world a lovelier and more awake place! With much admiration, Eleanor”

LAID BARE was born from conversations with those who struggle. Their stories are deeply rooted in grief from loss, mental health disorders, and trauma represented by long stretches of melancholy.

Nature heals. Within the depths of a petal or the simplicity of a secluded spot in the woods - these spaces offer solace to the unsettled. There is a quiet beauty that emerges. Look closely. Resilience, joy, and grace are revealed in unexpected places - complicated patterns, long shadows, cracks in a door, disembodied butterfly wings, shrines to the dead, dark portals, and empty rooms.

15% of sales from this show were donated to the Peaks Island Health Association to support their ongoing work to provide health-related information and resources to our Peaks Island neighbors.
